1. Booking and Seat Confirmation (Shared Rides)
- Co-Passenger Requirement: For shared taxi bookings, your ride is fully confirmed only when we find a co-passenger for your selected route and time.
- Seat Limits: To ensure comfort and safety, a maximum of 4 passengers are allowed in a shared cab. The dynamic fare calculation applies based on seat occupancy.
- Upgrade or Refund: If no co-passenger is found before the journey, you will be given the option to upgrade to a “Full Cab” by paying the remaining balance. If you decline the upgrade, your booking amount will be fully refunded within 2-3 working days.
2. Exam Social Share Ride Policy
- Mandatory Verification: Student safety is our top priority. For all “Exam Social Share Rides,” passengers must present a valid Original Government ID and their Exam Admit Card before boarding.
- Failure to Verify: If a passenger fails to provide the required valid documents, the driver reserves the right to cancel the ride, and no refund will be issued.
3. Waiting Charges and No-Show
- Free Waiting Time: A free waiting period of 15 minutes is allowed at the scheduled pickup time.
- Late Fees: After the initial 15 minutes, waiting charges will apply at the rate of ₹200 per hour for Sedans and ₹500 per hour for SUVs.
- No-Show Policy: If a passenger does not arrive at the pickup location within 40 minutes of the scheduled time without prior information, the booking will be automatically canceled without any refund.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- 24-Hour Notice: If a booking is canceled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time, a 100% refund will be credited to the original payment method.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time may be subject to cancellation fees as per company policy, and refunds will depend on vehicle availability and routing loss.
5. Safety, Speed, and Journey Conduct
- Speed Limits: We strictly prohibit over-speeding. All KirayaHalf cabs are mandated to maintain a maximum speed limit of 80 Kmph.
- Stops and Routing: Shared rides include designated pickup and drop-off points. Unscheduled mid-route stops or multiple personal drops are not permitted unless pre-calculated in the shared pool.
- Prohibited Use: Sending unaccompanied goods/luggage or using the cab as an ambulance (transporting a patient without a doctor/attendant) is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
KirayaHalf acts as an aggregator connecting passengers with drivers. We are not directly liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, natural disasters, heavy traffic, or sudden vehicle breakdowns, though we will make every reasonable effort to arrange alternative transportation.
